A slightly distant starboard side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of an unidentified London registered steam coaster under way in The Downs. The vessel is a long raised quarterdeck type with three masts, one in the forward well, one abaft the midships wheelhouse and one on the poop house. The funnel is black with a light coloured letter C or G or a similarly shaped symbol on a dark band. The port of registry on the stern is London and the name above it appears to have four letters. Negative number N19897 is also of this vessel.
