Model capstan lid
Lid for a capstan model box made of the wood of the ship of the line 'Royal George', which sank at Spithead in 1782. A copper plaque on the lid is inscribed with the words: 'Relic of the ROYAL GEORGE Sunk 1782 Raised 1840.'
