Lantern slide of a sketch of watercolour, ink, and chalk depicting two men strugging through a blizzard back to the Discovery in the ice. The crew are following a line of posts and ropes created to allow the crew to exercise and get back to the ship if there is a whiteout. The tower of the broken windmill is visible on the forward deck.
