Entrance to the Ice Cave on Inexpressible Island
In the middle distance a member of the Northern Party, holding a long vertical pole, stands next to the ice cave entrance on Inexpressible Island. Next to the ice cave entrance is a mound of "old seal bones and refuse thrown out by the party below". In the foreground of the photograph there is, as described by Victor Campbell, a "chaos of big boulders".
A number '108' is in a white dot on the slide and 'NA13' on the reverse.
