The photographer is standing on a jetty forward of the vessel looking at its starboard bow. A black elevator, possibly for transporting ore onto the vessel is off the port side of the ship on the jetty. A unidentified ship with a white funnel, with a red 5 pointed star and a red and black top is moored on the opposite side of Wilkawa.
