The inner harbour at Ramsgate, Kent
        
        A general view of the inner harbour at Ramsgate, Kent, taken from Military Road looking east-by-north.  In the foreground is the bow of the local paddle tug Aid (1855) which was in service at Ramsgate up to 1889.  A long line of ketch rigged trawling smacks are berthed bow-on to the quay.
