An interior view of the damage to the starboard side of the hull of the battleship Nelson (1925) at about station 134, taken on the middle deck looking forward and to starboard in the stripped out seamen's mess. The damage was caused by a collision with the Cardiff tramp steamer West Wales (1925) off Cape Villano, Spain on 29 Mar. 1931. The Nelson (1925) is in Portsmouth Dockyard. Vertical format.
