Job No. 1 (1931) on trials in Portsmouth Harbour, Hampshire.

A port side view, taken from ahead of the beam, of Job No. 1 (1931) under way at about 9 knots during initial hand control trials in Portsmouth upper harbour between numbers 7 and 9 buoys. She is turning under 25° of helm. The driver is Assistant Constructor H J Watson and he is sitting on a temporarily fitted bench-type seat. Slightly image movement. This was the second trial which was run berween number 4 buoy and the C1 coal depot. The first trial took place on Monday 9 Nov. 1931.
