A mock up of a 4.7 inch gun well laid out on the floor of a building in Portsmouth Dockyard. The mock up is to assist in the later construction of the flotilla leader Exmouth (1934) by the Dockyard. A shaped plate that represents the outline of the gun and shield is mounted on wheels above the well.
