Battle practice targets Nos. 11 and 16 in No. 10 dry dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
The two battle practice targets Nos. 11 and 16 dried out in No. 10 dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, undergoing substantial repairs to accumulated damage. The targets are surrounded by scaffolding. The raked end and iron keel of one of the targets is prominent. The photographer is looking north-east across the dock from the top of the south side about midway along the dock. No. 1 Smithery with its square chimneys is in the background.
