Two "Gun tripods" inside a workshop in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.
A tall and a short tripod, both with fittings on the top, photographed inside a workshop in Portsmouth Dockyard. The workshop has large sliding wooden doors. In the Portsmouth Dockyard negative register this negative is coupled with the negatives numbers N24695 and N24696 under the joint heading of "Air compressor and gun tripods". It is assumed that these tripods are for supporting air compressor guns and are not for weapons. Photograph requested by the Manager, Engineering Department.
