A very close detail of the aft port side of the hull near the end of the keel of the submarine Oswald (1928) dried out in dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register refers to this negative as "Semtex patches on docking before cleaning". The photographer is standing on the floor of the dock very close to the hull and looking straight at it. Vertical format.
