The demolished 100 ton sheerlegs floating in No. 3 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard, seen from west of No. 15 Dock. The front legs of the sheerlegs are floating at an angle and are supporting the lower end of the rear leg which is floating level. The top end of the rear leg has sunk and is holding down the top ends of the front legs. A steam launch is standing by and the light cruiser Enterprise (1919) is in the left background berthed on the east side of the basin.
