A starboard side view, looking aft from the quayside abreast the bow, of the special service vessel Cape Howe (1930) berthed in Portsmouth Dockyard. Her bow is out of the picture. She has a 4 inch low angle gun and a 12 pdr AA gun on a platform on her poop. She has commenced conversion to a Q ship and is riding high in the water. The bow of the special service vessel Cape Sable (1936) can be seen on the left.
