A very close view of the bent port propeller shaft of the escort destroyer Westminster (1918) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from the floor of the dock close to the rudder, looking forward. Her propeller has been removed and a large chain hoist is alongside the shaft. Her hull below the waterline was badly damaged as a result of striking a wreck at Dunkirk on 20 May 1940.
