A close view of the temporary stiffening repairs to the port side of the hull of the escort destroyer Westminster (1918) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. Her hull below the waterline was badly damaged as a result of striking a wreck at Dunkirk on 20 May 1940 and the temporary repairs were made at Dunkirk. A poorly exposed negative.
