Bomb damage to the destroyer Bulldog (1930) in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
On board the destroyer Bulldog (1930) in Portsmouth Dockyard showing a close detail of a bomb entry hole on the starboard side of the upper deck at station 94. The bomb entered the top of No. 3 boiler, passed through the generator tubes and came to rest on the water reservoir without exploding. The bombing occurred off the French coast on 10 Jun. 1940.
