Bomb damage to the destroyer Bulldog (1930) in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
On board the destroyer Bulldog (1930) in Portsmouth Dockyard showing a close detail of a bomb entry hole in the fore side of the after funnel, looking from starboard to port. The bomb passed through the fore end of the boiler room and exploded later as a result of the heat of the boilers. The bombing occurred off the French coast on 10 Jun. 1940.
