A port side view of the after part, from station 102 to station 116, of the badly damaged minesweeping escort sloop Bideford (1931) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from the side of the dock. Her stern was hit by a bomb off Dunkirk on 29 May 1940. The hull plating to the lower deck from station 102 to station 111 has been removed and the lower deck is missing aft of station 112. Her 4 inch gun on the forecastle deck above the wardroom has also been removed.
