The minesweeping escort sloop Bideford (1931) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire

A starboard side view of the after part, from station 103 to station 119, of the badly damaged minesweeping escort sloop Bideford (1931) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from the side of the dock. Her stern was hit by a bomb off Dunkirk on 29 May 1940. Her upper deck and lower deck aft of station 113 and most of the hold aft of station 117 are missing. Her 4 inch gun on the forecastle deck above the wardroom has also been removed.
