The destroyer Cameron (1919) in No. 8 Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
A starboard quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the destroyer Cameron (1919) burnt out and capsized to port in No. 8 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard. Her stern is out of the picture. She was hit by a bomb during an air raid on 5 Dec. 1940, was bodily moved off the keel blocks and caught fire. The dock was partially flooded by the efforts to extinguish the blaze. No. 1 Ship Shop and crane 179 are badly damaged.
