Looking forward along the floor of the dock from under the port quarter of the hull of the destroyer Cameron (1919) capsized in No. 8 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard. The dock has been drained and timber baulks have been wedged between the ship's hull and the side of the dock. The ship's propeller guard is in the foreground. Bomb damage to the dock wall is evident. The Cameron was hit by a bomb during an air raid on 5 Dec. 1940, was bodily moved off the keel blocks and caught fire.
