Bomb damage to the Dockyard School in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
One end of the Dockyard School building in Portsmouth Dockyard totally destroyed by a bomb hit, looking across Circular Road from the roof of the Torpedo Shops. The roadway on the left is being used to store rafts, carley floats, flotanets and minesweeping floats. A sign on the end wall by a ground floor window reads "Subhead E.5 1st floor, E.10 2nd floor & attic". The raid was in the evening of 5th December.
