Looking north between numbers 13 and 14 Dry Docks in Portsmouth Dockyard showing a badly bomb damaged air raid shelter. In the background is the battleship Queen Elizabeth (1913) under the 250 ton hammerhead crane on the Promontory in No. 3 Basin. The Floating crane in front of the 250 ton crane was taken as war reparation from Germany after WW1 and was given the title Crane Lighter 1. The raid was in the evening of 5th December.
