Bomb damage to the H.P. House between C & D Locks, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.
Bomb damage to the H.P. House at the west end of the quay between C & D Locks in Portsmouth Dockyard. A steel box-like construction on the quayside has the name Siebe, Gorman & Co Ltd painted on it. The caisson to C Lock is in the foreground. The large rail-mounted cranes on either side of D Lock are in the background. A barrage balloon can be seen in the top left corner. The raid was in the evening of 5th December.
