The destroyer escort Viceroy (1917) at Spithead, Hampshire
A port quarter view, taken from wide off the stern, of the destroyer escort Viceroy (1917) stopped at Spithead. She has been converted to an anti-aircraft escort with twin 4 inch Mk XVI guns in Mk XIX mountings which are trained fore and aft. She has a Type 286 radar aerial on her foremast. Her pendant number is L21.
