Bomb damage to the auxiliary anti-aircraft vessel Tynwald (1936) in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.
Looking forward from frame 110 along the port side of the hold deck of the auxiliary anti-aircraft vessel Tynwald (1936) in Portsmouth Dockyard. She is undergoing conversion to an anti-aircraft vessel and was hit by a bomb on the night of 10 Jan. 1941 and received substantial structural damage. The main deck beam has been bent by a glancing blow from the bomb and the main and shelter deck plating has been removed. Auxiliary pumping machinery is in the left foreground.
