A view of a sheet of plating destined for the auxiliary anti-aircraft vessel Tynwald (1936) on railway flat trucks numbers 136 and 203 in Portsmouth Dockyard. The railway trucks have been hit by a small bomb and the plate has been severely damaged. The photographer is looking down on the quayside from the deck of the Tynwald (1936).
