A close-up of the port side of the destroyer Witherington (1919) in dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, showing the corrugated hull aft between stations 131-136, taken from the top of the dock. She was hit the three bombs while alongside a jetty at Portsmouth on the night of 10-11 Mar. 1941 and had to be beached on a mud bank. She was refloated and dry docked for repairs and conversion to short range escort.
