Bomb damage to the starboard side of the hull of the light cruiser Sirius (1940) in dry dock at Portsmouth Dockyard, looking forward from the side of the dry dock. The hull plating between stations 135 and 146 has been blown out in way of the ward room stores and a temporary wooden patch is being constructed to fill the hole. The floor of the dock is flooded. The ship is under construction, having been launched from No. 5 Slip on 18 Sep. 1940. She was hit by a single bomb during an air raid on the night of 3-4 May 1941.
