A DRV1F twin 21 inch torpedo tubes mounting, viewed from the right side of the muzzle end, under construction in a workshop in Portsmouth Dockyard. The operator's shield is not yet fittted. The mount is destined for the escort destroyer Blean (1942) which was under construction by R W Hawthorn, Leslie & Co Ltd at Hebburn-on-Tyne. A notice board in the background states "Your shelter is 323".
