A box model at No. 3 Basin in Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
A steel box model suspended over the wall on the south side of No. 3 Basin in Portsmouth Dockyard. The square box has a rectangular centre panel securely bolted to the main box. A small device is suspended over the centre of the panel and is held in position by a horizontal wire. Written on the left side of the box is the word "contact" and in the bottom left corner of the box is the message "Go to the main gate" signed by Henry or Harry. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P1/43 is written on the negative over the bottom left corner of the box.
