A close view of the collision damaged starboard bow of the steam gun boat Grey Seal (1941) alongside in Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from just abaft the bow. She has a 20 mm oerlikon cannon fitted as a bowchaser. The Grey Seal (1941) was damaged in collision with the Grey Wolf (1941) off Cherbourg on 27 Jul. 1943. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P50/43 is written in the bottom left corner of the negative.
