A close view of the collision damaged bow of the steam gun boat Grey Seal (1941) alongside in Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from on the port side of the forecastle deck looking forward and to starboard. She has a 20 mm oerlikon cannon fitted as a bowchaser. The Grey Seal (1941) was damaged in collision with the Grey Wolf (1941) off Cherbourg on 27 Jul. 1943. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P51/43 is written in the bottom left corner of the negative.
