The hulks of the destroyer Porcupine (1941) in No. 3 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
The two sections of the destroyer Porcupine (1941) laid up in No. 3 Basin, Portsmouth Dockyard. They are berthed on the quay between No. 13 and No. 14 Dry Docks. The bow section which was up to station 61 is inboard and seen from fine off the starboard quarter. The stern section which was from station 73 is outboard and seen from off the port bow. The tip of the foremast is out of the picture. The bow was named Pork and the stern was known as Pine. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P177/43 has been written near the bottom right corner of the negative.
