AFD Jetty, Fountain Lake, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire

Looking down on the west side of the AFD Jetty, Fountain Lake, Portsmouth Dockyard, from the top of the south wall of the Admiralty Floating Dock 11 (1924). The brow leading up to the top of the floating dock is on the right. Berthed on the south side of the jetty are a floating steam pile driver with the cable lighter X134 (1915) outboard of her. A collier is discharging on North Wall in the background. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P230/43 has been written in the bottom left corner of the negative. Slight image movement.
