The submarines Thor (1944) and Tiara (1944) under construction in No. 13 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.
Two hatch trunks, viewed ffom the starboard side, fitted to the pressure hull of one of the submarines Thor or Tiara under construction in No. 13 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. Fitted to the top of one of the trunks is an electric machine tool manufactured by Craven of Manchester. It is possibly a vertical boring machine. The Portsmouth Dockyard negative register number P92/44 has been written in the bottom middle of the negative.
