On board the damaged corvette Pink (1942) in No. 8 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, looking forward and to starboard along the starboard side of the extended forecastle deck from frame74 showing corrugations to the deck at about frame 69. The Pink was hit by a Gnat acoustic torpedo fired from the German submarine U 988 off Normandy on 27 Jun. 1944. She was written off as a constructive total loss.
