The starboard side amidships of damaged corvette Pink (1942) in No. 8 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, looking aft and to port from the dockside showing corrugations to the hull at about frame 69, in way of the boiler room. Vertical format. The Pink was hit by a Gnat acoustic torpedo fired from the German submarine U 988 off Normandy on 27 Jun. 1944. She was written off as a constructive total loss.
