A close detail of the damaged stern of the frigate Affleck (1943) dried out in No. 12 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. The photographer is standing on the side wall of the dock and is looking to port at the starboard side of the ship showing the corrugated plating in way of the shaft swell. The hull has bad weed growth on it.
