The damaged frigate Affleck (1943) in No. 12 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire

A starboard quarter view of the frigate Affleck (1943) dried out in No. 12 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard. The photographer is standing on the side wall of the dock and is looking forward and to port from abaft the stern. The stern is canted up, the port shaft is broken and the starboard propeller and shaft are missing. The hull has bad weed growth on it. Vertical format.
