The damaged frigate Affleck (1943) in No. 12 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
A close view of the port quarter view of the frigate Affleck (1943) dried out in No. 12 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, taken from the bottom of the dock looking aft and to starboard from abreast the shaft swell. The stern is canted up, the port shaft is broken and the rudder and starboard propeller and shaft are missing. The hull has bad weed growth on it.
