Admiralty Floating Dock No. 11 (1924) in Fountain Lake, Portsmouth, Hampshire
Looking along the length of Admiralty Floating Dock No. 11 (1924) from the high level walkway at the east end of the dock. She is moored in Fountain Lake off North Wall, Portsmouth Dockyard. The monitor Abercrombie (1942), seen from dead ahead, is berthed in the dock undergoing refit. A large steam boiler is standing on the starboard side of her forecastle deck. Berthed athwartships in the dock ahead of the monitor are two naval armament lighters, NA 63 and NA 45.
