The former German tanker Nord Atlantic (1938) in No. 15 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.

A close view of the port side of the stern of the tanker Nord Atlantic (1938), dried out in No. 15 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, during her reconstruction, taken from the bottom of the dock looking forward and to starboard. The new stern casting is in place but the lower strakes of plating have not yet been fitted. Wooden formers are hanging on the scaffolding.
