The former German tanker Nord Atlantic (1938) in No. 15 Dry Dock, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire.
On board the tanker Nord Atlantic (1938), dried out in No. 15 Dry Dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, during her reconstruction. Looking aft and to starboard along the upper deck from the port side of the forecastle. Her midships superstructure is being rebuilt from scratch and the upper bridge has been fitted with wind and spray deflectors. Windows have been cut in lower bridge plating. Her foremast is surrounded by scaffolding.
