Oil burning furnace, Portsmouth Dockyard, Hampshire
The interior of a brick-built oil burning furnace in Portsmouth Dockyard. This single storey brick wall supports a pitched corrugated iron roof. There are two arched openings in the wall and a low wall is on the floor between these openings. This is the opposite wall to that shown in negative number N26505. The location of this furnace within the dockyard is unknown.
