The starboard inner propeller shaft A bracket of the battleship Duke of York (1940), taken from the starboard side ahead of the bracket at the bottom of the dry dock in Portsmouth Dockyard, looking aft and to port. The upper and lower cone plates are bolted in position and the final two bolts for the lower cone plate are suspended from the shaft on string.
