The interior of a tabulating machine room of Portsmouth Dockyard's Expense Accounts Office in Warblington House. Nine women employees are sitting at their individual desks, each of which has a tabulating machine on it. Another woman, possibly the supervisor, is standing at the back of the office. Warblington House was built in 1941 as temporary accommodation and was located off College Road, near the Main Gate and north of the South Office Block, close to Storehouse No. 9.
