Part of a wooden mock-up of the Operations Room for the aircraft carrier Ark Royal (1950) constructed, possibly in the Mould Loft, in Portsmouth Dockyard. This is part of the upper level of the Operations Room and shows where the perspex screen would be fitted. Various control boxes, radar screens and the fleet disposition board are on this level and below are R/T communications stations, more radar screens and the navigation plot.
