Inside the M.E.D. Apprentices Training Workshop in Portsmouth Dockyard. This is a corrugated iron building and was built on the site of the Factory that was bombed in 1940-1941 and there are 27 apprentices of the October 1946 entry at work benches. On one of the benches is a wooden toolbox with M D Burgess painted on it. One of the apprentices using a milling machine is David Willcox.
